RESPONSIBILITIES
The National Security Agency Office of Occupational Health and Well Being (OHWB) has an upcoming full-time opening for an experienced health care professional who is self-motivated, self-sufficient, possesses exceptional customer services skills, thrives on challenges and desires a spectrum of service opportunities. This position offers a diverse opportunity within the scope of a licensed registered pharmacist to support the current needs of the OHWB pharmacy staff and provide pharmaceutical care to their patients. Description of Position: The successful applicant will be expected to serve as a professional pharmacist in a board-certified pharmacy that specializes in dispensing medications to federal employees, contractors and military personnel assigned to this Agency facility. The work typically involves selection, dispensing and preservation of drugs, medicines and pharmaceutical supplies, and chemicals; limited compounding; advising on drug therapy and usage; performing administrative, consultative, or staff work concerning the administration of a pharmacy program. As a Pharmacist, your responsibilities will include: - Interview all patients requiring pharmaceutical care and create or update medication history profiles using Composite Health Care System program (CHCS or current system) or backup system. - Provide the service of selecting appropriate medications and dosage forms, determining if dosage is correct, filling and dispensing prescriptions and over the counter medications with (CHCS or current system) or backup system and medical supplies in compliance with all federal, state, and OHWB guidelines and current standards of practice. - Maintain and order pharmaceutical and medical supply inventories as appropriate. - Drug therapy monitoring and communicating relevant findings and recommendations to other health-care professionals who are responsible for the patient's care. - Patient education and counseling regarding drug therapy and drug related disease prevention. - Monitoring, detecting, documenting, reporting, and managing: adverse drug reactions, pharmaceutical recalls, outdated pharmaceuticals; pharmacy errors, metrics, and other reports as needed to support the mission of OHWB. - Manage the pharmacy in the absence of the Team Lead Pharmacist and provide other duties as directed by the Team Lead Pharmacist, OHS, and/or OHWB when needed to support Agency mission, following OHWB policies and current standards of practice.

Also, the successful candidate has ability to utilize Word, Excel and PowerPoint to create, access and modify documents, possesses problem-solving, analytic, interpersonal skills, and is: - open-minded - team player - proactive, self-directed - active listener - empathetic - flexible - customer service oriented - able to work effectively (independently and/or within teams) in a collaborative environment - able to handle diversified tasks simultaneously - able to manage multiple tasks with competing timelines and deliverables - able to speak in front of large groups in an effective and engaging manner
PAY BENEFITS & WORK SCHEDULE
Salary Offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Salary Range: $106,823 - $164,102 (Senior level) - Maryland On-the job training, internal NSA courses, and external training will be made available based on the need and experience of the selectee. Work Schedule: Applicants should be aware that some of these jobs support 24/7 operations based on mission requirements and shift schedules may vary to include night shift.
