Subsequently, we have expanded beyond the leasing, retail and commercial financing of a traditional captive-finance company offering a broad variety of products tailored for the BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce customer. As the Enterprise Analytics Architect, you will perform data platform design and architecture for analytical solutions across SF2-US which are aligned with information delivery policies and the SF2-US Data Strategy. You will ensure analytical requirements are designed with performance optimization, security, reuse, compliance, and governance policy adherence, as well as translate business requirements into data architecture and design for information delivery.

In this role, you will be responsible for data analytic solution design to facilitate maximum quality and efficiency with analytics best practices. In addition, you will be responsible for analytics tool evaluation, selection and defining of best practice for selected tools, and will lead and instruct collaborative efforts across all cross functional analytical teams including data engineering, business Intelligence, data science, and data integration teams for the region SF2.

In support of BMW Group's business objectives, this position requires regular attendance at a BMW office/facility with remote work capability (hybrid). In-office days may be assigned by the line manager.

B.A./B.S. degree in Computer Science, Quantitative field, or similar field

Current or previous engagements with senior leadership and frequent executive communications (written and verbal).

Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in a corporate environment working with Data and Analytics, including:

• SQL

• Architecture and design experience with data warehouse, reporting, analytics, data science

• Data modeling experience for data warehouse or lakes creating entity relationship diagrams

• Business intelligence architecture and design experience, including maximizing security, performance, accessibility and reusability across various tools and data sources

• Experience with information delivery and data access policies

• 5 years developing reports and dashboards using BI tools; like Tableau or Qlik, etc.

• 4 years in Data Analysis using statistical tools; like R, SAS, etc.

• 4 years leading and managing projects

• 2 years implementing data analytics industry best practices as internal standards with operational controls

• Experience with ETL data preparation experience including architecture, tools, and design

• Business leadership coaching and consulting on analytical topics, written and verbal

• Strong background and working understanding of IT organizations, processes, and systems

Preferences

Master's degree in software engineering, Quantitative field, or similar field in lieu of 2 years of Data Analytics corporate experience

• 5 years agile project delivery

• 3 years Financial Services or Automotive Industry

• 3 years data catalog experience like Informatica EDC and Axon

• Star schema, Kimball-based solutions
