PRECISION AG SPECIALIST:

Are you an expert in Precision Agriculture software? Do you love sharing your knowledge with others? If so, we want you on our team! Pape’ Machinery, the premier equipment dealer in the west, is looking to add a skilled Precision Ag Specialist to our team in the Sacramento, CA region.

In this role, you will be the regional “expert”, key contact, and first line of support for assisting store members in all departments in configuring, quoting, setting up, and supporting John Deere Precision Ag and other Integrated Solutions-related products. In addition, the Precision Ag Specialist must be able to explain the customer value of the John Deere Precision Ag strategy, the features and benefits of each product, MyJohnDeere.com, Operations Center, JDLink, and Stellar Support website navigation. Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Assist customers with direct sales of precision ag solutions.


• Assist customers with troubleshooting issues and resolving customer complaints in a timely manner by coordinating repairs with the responsible service department.


• Providing Precision Ag support in the defined region and assisting others as needed;


• Assisting the Integrated Solutions Manager in developing Precision Ag marketing and support initiatives;


• Assisting the Regional Sales Manager with Precision Ag Sales initiatives;


• Assisting in the development and conducting of internal mainstreaming/end-user training including data management training in John Deere Operations Center;


• Continuously updating Sales and Product Support members on Precision Ag Support Resources;


• Assisting Product Support Managers with support issues and advising on support resources;


• Assisting Product Support managers in developing a Support Triage Procedure to streamline support timeliness and improve efficiency;


• Accurately accounting for time spent supporting Precision Ag to enable revenue capture;


• Conducting Precision Ag portion of End User Machine Delivery Training;


• Assisting with all Precision Ag Training and Mainstreaming;


• Assisting Territory Managers with configuring Precision Ag Solutions beyond basic AutoTrac;


• Keeping an accurate log of support issues and solutions for future reference and training;


• Maintaining current on all JDU Precision Ag-related training as identified by Integrated Solutions Manager.


• Responsible for any other assigned duties.

The preferred candidate will have extensive experience with Precision Ag products and related FarmSight-related products, and experience in Product Support department operations and customer expectations. Must have strong computer and time-management skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to identify issues relating to Precision Ag and related technology solutions.

Starting Compensation: $70,00-$100,000 per year (depending on experience) with potential for commission/incentives.
