What you will do

 

Through strategic leadership and subject matter expertise the role will support JCI’s Supply Chain Planning teams through implementation and maturity of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes.  

 

How you will do it

 

Design and lead implementation of processes, tools, training, and mentorship to drive value-add, efficiency, and accountability with the intent of delivering an effective & ever maturing Global S&OP/E processes.   

Referencing experience, subject matter expertise, and industry best practice to design and implement world class S&OP management capability across the JCI Global Products business units (PBU). 

 

  • Responsible to drive standardization of the underlying processes that support robust and value-added S&OP/E across global business units. Ensure both S&OP and S&OE processes evolve symbiotically.   


  • Partner with the Demand and Supply Planning leads to ensure Core Planning processes tie effectively into the over-arching S&OP business process.  


  • Through leadership, influence, and relationship building work effectively with each business unit to develop and progress along their portfolio management, demand planning, supply/inventory planning and financial planning maturity to ensure alignment with the JCI Global Products S&OP Playbook. 


  • Working with stakeholders, develop, implement, and lead improvement of critical KPI’s in support of a strong S&OP/E conversation, for example: New Product Time to Market, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory % to plan, First pass fill rate, Backorder, Backorder Ageing, Inventory Efficiency, Excess and Obsolete Inventory %, Revenue to Plan, …  


  • Maintain outside-in outlook of what a mature S&OP/E process looks like and evaluate gaps between current and required state for JCI’s businesses. Evaluate and understand process variations required by different go-to-market and manufacturing strategies (MTS, MTO, ETO).  


  • Lead global investigation, strategic direction, and implementation of best-in-class technology across the PBU’s to support seamless and integrated S&OP business plans, driving transparency of the global businesses. 



  • As member of global leadership team, help drive effective S&OP/E processes, maturity, and behaviors across the organization 


  • Build the supply chain planning talent pool of JCI through effective training, career development, and internal/external recruiting practices 


  • Lead Supply Chain Management activities across multiple units / financial entities / foreign borders.  Multiple suppliers, customers, products and processes within scope of responsibility. 


  • Maintains effective working relationship and communication with all business units 


  • Travel up to 25%


 

What we look for

 ​Required 


  • Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Business Administration preferred) 


  • Eight + years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning and S&OP in complicated global environments 


  • Proficiency in Microsoft, Advanced Planning Software (Logility, JDA, SAP, ToolsGroup, Kinaxis…), BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Cliq…), and ERP systems 


 

Preferred 


  • Supply Chain/S&OP experience in multiple manufacturing strategies environments 


  • MBA  


  • APICS Certification
