A 550 bed tertiary medical center in southern Las Vegas is actively interviewing for a Nurse Director to lead multiple Critical Care Units including: Medical Intensive Care Unit (20 beds), Surgical ICU (16 room unit), Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (24 patient beds), Intermediate Care Unit and a Chest Pain floor. The Nurse Director will lead a team of 200 FTEs and RN Nurse Director will report to the Executive Director of Patient Care Services. The Nurse Director in this Critical Care Unit will thrive in a high acuity nursing department. This hospital is a certified Trauma Center and is prepared to handle both adult and pediatric trauma patients. The ICU and Step Down Unit are staffed with experienced RNs, allied health professionals, Intensivists and healthcare support that truly put the patient and their families first. More than 50% of the nurses at this regional referral trauma center have earned their BSN and many have obtained their unit specific Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) credentials.
