The Team

We are seeking a Risk Analyst to join American Tower’s Accounts Receivables team within the Finance organization.  The Accounts Receivable Finance team provides accounting support services for all of the Company’s U.S. Tower division’s receivable revenue. Day to day you will interpret the risk level and financial status of customers by reviewing financial statements, credit reports, bank and trade references, and applicable litigation files if any. In addition, you will support the Company’s litigation efforts by working with both third-party collection agencies and internal Legal department employees to resolve unpaid balances.  As a Risk Analyst you will partner cross-functionally to monitor a risk portfolio of customers and drive success with external customers by reviewing their credit information to help facilitate new business while mitigating credit risks.

What You Can Offer Us 


  • Review the financial status of new account credit applications to evaluate possible risks; request credit reports, bank and trade references, and other financial documents needed to access risk portfolios.

  • Identify credit risk customers and escalate them to the Risk Analysis Manager for review.

  • Monitor excessively delinquent accounts including litigation and bankruptcy files; evaluate them against credit limits and make recommendations regarding additional business.

  • Monitor the risk portfolio, reviewing delinquent accounts and executing either credit reviews or on hold statuses.

  • Support internal collections teams by providing them with any needed customer information.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed 



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.


  • Between 13 years of experience in a credit or accounts receivable environment preferred.

  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Oracle Financials and Microsoft Office suite, preferred.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.

  • Strong financial skills and the ability to analyze financial statements.

  • Strong Excel skills. 

  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
