The Team

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance (“QA”) Analyst to join American Tower’s U.S. Tower division’s IT department.  The IT team delivers quality software solutions that provide measurable business value. Day to day you will define, lead, and implement software test guidelines and standards. As a Senior QA Analyst, you will partner cross-functionally as a project team member to analyze business, technical, and functional requirements, transferring them into supporting test plans and executing those test plans while adhering to software test guidelines and standards.

What You Can Offer Us

• Participate in critical analysis, design, and change review meetings for software developed in-house; by outside third parties, as part of packaged, commercial, off-the-shelf application platforms; or Software-as-a-Service platforms that may be modified or configured to suit project and business requirements.


• Define software validation processes, guidelines, and standards. Provide software validation, design controls, and risk management training.


• Generate metrics to assess software quality and evaluate results; report and track defects. Participate in the communication and analysis of test results and patterns, providing a feedback loop to requirements gathering, design, and development teams.


• Administer configuration control systems for product development tools software.  Oversee software releases, ensuring internal or external customers’ acceptance of requirements and success criteria.


• Contribute to process improvements by developing and/or updating written Company or departmental procedures related to software development and testing based on industry standard quality assurance best practices.


• Serve as QA Testing team leader for specific projects or products, overseeing and administering work assignments and results of an extended onsite/offsite team and ensuring appropriate allocation and coverage to satisfy and ensure quality delivery.


• Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree or university program certificate required.


• 
  Between 5–7 years’ QA experience working on one of the following required:
  
  
  
  • Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning/Oracle eBusiness Suite;
  
  
  • Microsoft, Java, and/or UNIX platforms or applications environment.
  
  
  
  


• Experience writing and implementing test plans and strategies required.


• Salesforce and other cloud-based applications experience preferred.


• Experience with relational databases, system integrations, and query tools preferred.


• Load testing, process automation, and performance testing experience preferred.


• SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile experience preferred.


• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.


• Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.


• Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
