Program Coordinator - Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services at Glade Run Lutheran Services in Butler, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

*Work for a company that cares and receive a bonus! The full-time Program Coordinator: Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services may be eligible for a $2500 new hire incentive bonus if hired and meet all qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  1. A Program Coordinator - Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (PRS) shall have one of the following:


    • A Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years’ work experience in mental health direct service, of which one (1) must be work experience in Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (PRS).  Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) certification shall be attained within two (2) years from the date of hire as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist; OR

    • Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) certification. 

  2. Prior supervisory experience preferred. 

Physical Requirements:


  1. Must have audio/visual/verbal capabilities to provide supervision for the clients and to perform essential job functions.

Emotional Requirements:


  1. Must have emotional stability to perform essential job functions.

Other Requirements:


  1. Ability to work as a team member.

  2. Ability to accept supervision.

  3. Ability to adjust hours to job requirements.

  4. Ability to work independently.

  5. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.

  6. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.

  7. Ability to drive for work purposes including to client homes and to job site.

  8. Ability to identify with the agency’s Mission Statement and support the agency’s Core Values.

  9. Must be eligible for PA State Police Clearance, PA Child Abuse History clearance, and FBI clearance.

CORE COMPETENCIES:


  1. Provide supervision and leadership to the PRS specialist and PRS worker in the PRS service delivery model.

  2. Develop and monitor staff work scheduled and work assignments.

  3. Assess, monitor and implement programmatic interventions as needed to ensure a high quality standard of care.

  4. Assign and monitor caseload assignments.

  5. Ensure all documentation meets the state and regulatory requirements.

  6. Oversee the development and implementation of Strength and Needs assessment and Individualized Rehabilitation Plans and updates according to consumer need and regulatory requirements.

  7. Liaison with internal and external stakeholder for collaboration of care.

  8. Uphold all accreditation, licensing and MCO regulations and standards.

  9. Maintain physical plant upkeep.

  10. Attend consumer and agency meetings as needed. 

  11. Works collaboratively with the Director of Quality Improvement to ensure fidelity to evidence based treatment modalities.
