The person chosen for this specialist role is expected to lead by example in the following areas:

Demonstrated ability to complete and document tasks
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
A good understanding of applicable assembly processes
Working knowledge of and relevant experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems.
Skill to troubleshoot and repair control issues on equipment controlled by PLC’s is desired but not mandatory.
Ability to explain complex systems in a way that understanding is achieved and be able to influence the reactions of assembly technicians to operating variances that do not require high skill levels.
Successful candidates must be able to learn new concepts and apply them daily in interpreting the proper repair techniques required for each situation.
Ability to solicit information from various sources and compile them into a course of action.
Brainstorming and active problem solving skills are expected.
Physical Demands of the Job:
Must be able to access all areas of the plant and safely use ladders and other access devices such as scissors lifts and articulated boom lifts. This job also requires some climbing and standing for extended periods.
