Pharmacy Technician Lead Representative at Cigna in GALLATIN, Tennessee

Job Description:

The Pharmacy at LivingWell offers a full line of prescription services, brand name, generic, and over the counter medications. We are a retail pharmacy located within the Cigna LivingWell Center in Gallatin, TN.

As a Pharmacy Technician with The Pharmacy at LivingWell you will;

-Retrieve filled prescription orders for patients
-Provide excellent customer service via phone and in person
-Prepare prescribed medication for patients such as counting tablets and labeling bottles
-Retrieve new prescriptions and refills

- Call patients to review and fill medications for pharmacy's sync program

- Call patents at risk of being non-adherent with medications to refill meds on time.

- Assist nurses, clinic staff, and physicians with formulary questions

Schedule: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday

Ideal candidate will have:

- Must have and maintain PTCB Certification.
- Must have and maintain TN Board of Pharmacy Certified Technician License.
- Graduate of Pharmacy Technician Academic Program or equivalent job experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Cash handling experience.
- Experience with pharmacy operating systems.
- Typing ability 30+ WPM preferred

- Excellent Customer Service skills required
- A high school degree or equivalent is strongly preferred

- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a community pharmacy setting
