Responsibilities
The Site Superintendent I is responsible for the scheduling, monitoring and controlling of the work of site personnel, equipment and subcontractors to achieve the objectives of the project within the scope of work assigned. S/he works closely with the Project Manager to execute the project plan and achieve maximum performance in an efficient manner. The Site Superintendent II is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of craftsmanship of installed scope of work`` while maintaining the project schedule, and ensuring safe working practices in accordance with the Schneider Electric safety policy.
PRIMARY DUTIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned on an as needed basis.
Experience Required: 4 years of equivalent work experience preferred. This role requires the ability to demonstrate experience and independent responsibility with high confidence in construction management field.

While performing the primary functions of the job, the employee is regularly exposed a general office environment. During periods of project site visits, the employee will be exposed to outside weather conditions as well as mechanical equipment rooms, which could consist of confined spaces and loud noises. Employee may work in different environments while on various job sites. This job requires work to be primarily performed on project sites and thus will require greater than 75% travel to project sites . Normal work schedule is Mon-Thurs/Fri depending on project requirements. Special project circumstances may require additional working hours on weekends; however, this is typically scheduled in advance. Daily work hours vary depending on the project plan. Travel will occur using an automobile or by airplane to destinations.
On September 9, 2021, U.S. Executive Order 14042 was issued, requiring all who are working in connection with federal contracts to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or have a company-approved medical or religious exemption. Since the Order was issued, the District Court of Georgia has placed a legal hold on the Mandate's vaccine requirements in all states nationwide. As such, the vaccine requirements of the Mandate and the Policy are currently on HOLD for U.S. employees, partners, and vendors. If the legal hold is overturned, we will resume the process to comply with the Mandate and Policy and all Schneider Electric U.S.-based employees will be required to show proof of vaccination or have a company-approved medical or religious exemption. We will continue to monitor and comply with the legal decisions regarding the Mandate and adjust our Policy accordingly. Independent of the legal hold, we will continue to comply with customer vaccination requirements.
