This position can work independently applying extensive SME knowledge to solve multiple projects. The position must coordinate effectively with all work groups.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

•Identifies and performs task as required to meet objectives

•Lead interpretation and analysis of complex issues

•Coordinates assigned projects, studies and initiatives through completion

•Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

•Prepare and present reports including recommendation to resolve complex issues

•Participate in and lead special projects and committees

•Lead complex problem - solving efforts

**Level of position will be determined by applicable skills/experience.

The successful candidate will have responsibilities in the following support areas

Environmental

• Work with Environmental team support contemporaneous reclamation and other regulatory compliance for the mining operations




• Contribute to pre-design/construction project evaluations




• Work with corporate and site teams to prepare the annual Asset Retirement Obligation mapping and report.

Civil Design / PE Responsibilities (if certified)

• Annual Pond Certifications (RRC / MSHA




• Track civil projects progress (project evaluation thru in-service)




• Prepare Civil Design packages Submittals (RRC). This will include, but not be limited to: Reclamation Ponds, Surface Water Control Diversions, Sedimentation Ponds, Miscellaneous Flow Diversions, Access Roads, Discharge Curves for New Sedimentation Ponds




• As-Built Construction Certifications

Construction Administration

• Maximo PRs (Kosse / Bremond)




• Monthly Accruals for Active Projects




• Capital Projections / PPT Updates

Other

• Day to day requests from operations, maintenance, or environmental/engineering.




• Mine production reporting




• Mine Planning (Short, Mid and Long term)




• MSHA - reporting and mapping per regulations




• Pond inspections

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements:

• 4 yr. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mining highly preferred)




• And 8 yrs. related job experience




• Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills
