Job Title: DevOps Engineer



What You Will Do: This role is to be a liaison between the integration development team to act as a partner for the corporate DevOps + Cloud Operations team. The architecture of the integration team implements solutions, which are based on containerized technologies using K8 solutions and microservices.


The DevOps organization uses standard industry set of tool such as Jenkins templates, JIRA, LDAP, Git along with SonarQube and Nexus. You will need to know about DevOps tools with Cloud platforms, Configuration Management, Delivery management, System Administration, and Cloud Migration. You will also assist in the areas of Open Source Vulnerability Scanning Packaging, Certificate Management in Azure Vault, Password Policy Management, Data Analysis of security monitoring outputs, coordination of Remediation Patching, and other Security and Compliance efforts. Additionally, you will help by developing an automated security framework for robust deployment tools and processes, leveraging open source solutions.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Work in an Agile-based environment to engineer, design, and deliver public and private cloud-based Kubernetes platforms and solutions

  • Design, engineer, and implement enterprise-grade high volume, low latency, distributed applications via cloud-based deployment and operational processes

  • Utilize automation and orchestration systems and tooling to manage a broad portfolio of containerized web applications, configuration files, databases, user mount points, and deployment packages

  • Work on public cloud platforms delivering Infrastructure as service (IAAS) and Platform as service (PAAS) solutions

  • Execute on all release engineering aspects of DevOps including Configuration Build and Deployment Management, Continuous Integration and Delivery

  • Develop automated, continuous application build and deployment processes (CI/CD), focusing on the regular improvement of end-user experience

  • Instrument systems to provide the best possible operational monitoring and metrics (APM)

  • Assist with performance testing and tuning of complex and high-traffic environments

  • Create, update and enhance written processes and documentation with a focus on ease of understanding and completeness

  • Perform after-hours or weekend system maintenance and application support as needed

  • Participate in change management and incident management processes

  • Engage in problem resolution and root cause analysis of system and application incidents




Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • 10-12 years of overall experience in DevOps Engineering, Solution Integration and System engineering with primary focus on implementation and management of build, release and configuration of commercial applications

  • Experienced in containerizing monolithic applications

  • Experience working with Developers, DevOps, and Engineering teams in a dynamic environment to promote/implement the DevOps program throughout the organization

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Production Engineering or related position implementing CICD process flow using Jenkins platform

  • 2-3 years of experience on implementing the Docker Hub, Docker Engine, Docker images, Docker Weave, Docker Compose, Docker Swarm, Docker Volumes, Docker Registry, Kubernetes and implemented Docker automation solution using Azure CI/CD pipeline

  • Configuring scripts in Cloud console / Jenkins for Automated executions

  • Experience with Helm Charts, YAML, Git Flow, Maven, JIRA, K8 and Nexus

  • Experience of 3+ years on Azure cloud platform tools mainly AKS

  • Familiarity with API Security, Container Security, Azure Vault

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience on Cloud Deployments

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language

  • Good Linux skills

Optional/Nice to Have Skills



  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud services (ARM templates, Virtual Networks, Virtual Machines, Azure Container Registry, Cloud Services, Resource Groups, Express Route, Traffic Manager, VPN, Load Balancing, Application Gateways, Auto - Scaling)

  • Ability to review and analyze vulnerability data to identify security risks to the organization's network, infrastructure, and application's and determine any reported vulnerabilities that are false positives

  • Comprehension in the security areas of Key Management Systems, Certificate Management, Encryption, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Scanning, Security and Monitoring tools, etc.

  • Experience coordinating and performing vulnerability assessments through the use of automated and manual tools (such as TwistLock or similar)

  • Leadership and teamwork skills to coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities within established timeframes

  • Ability to work with APIs and Plugins to integrate security tools into established CI/CD pipelines

  • Capability to prepare security vulnerability and risk management reports for management

  • Experience in working in teams following Agile or XP methodology

  • Any Cloud or DevOps Certifications
