Job Description:

A well-established community hospital is seeking a Medical Surgical RN Manager to join their renowned health care team. 

This Medical Surgical RN Manager will join a Joint Commission and American College of Radiology Accredited Hospital that offers a comprehensive cancer center, 3D Mammography Program, a Family Birth Center, and has been awarded the “Most Wired Hospitals” award for the past 8 years and counting.

The Medical Surgical RN Manager will report to the Chief Nursing Officer. There will also be multiple Charge Nurses who are able to provide assistance with any issues that arise. The Nurse Manager will have the opportunity to form interdepartmental relations with other department leaders, especially the Emergency Department Manager, to ensure each patient is receiving the quality care needed during their stay. 

The Medical Surgical RN Manager will oversee a rewarding and bustling department. The RN Manager will have the opportunity to supervise and provide professional guidance to knowledgeable staff and new hires. This Manager will use problem solving skills to resolve any issues that may arise within the department. The Manager will also ensure prioritization and organization of patient care and follow through of planned care for each patient. This Nurse leader will also have the opportunity to work alongside the leadership team to form fiscal budgets, schedule staff, and ensure policies and procedures are regulated in the department.
