This Hospital Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services will report to the COO and will work closely with the Medical Director of Radiology to oversee all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging. Responsibilities for this position include providing oversight to the DI scheduling services/referrals, assisting with staff development/education in collaboration with the education department, promoting communication among all members of the interdisciplinary team, direct and supervise patient care and flow through DI and ACD Departments, develop and implements policies and standards in accordance with regulatory requirements, managing resources, conducting department meetings, prepares updates and reports for administration, remains up to date on current trends and developments in the field and relays such to the department, and maintains a supportive work environment for staff.


It is important that this Diagnostic Imaging Services Director has previous experience in diagnostic imaging operations, with previous leadership experience within a similar sized acute care hospital. This candidate is required to possess a Bachelor's degree and a graduate degree in a related field is not required but is preferred. This Director should also have their ARRT certification.
