This non-profit hospital offers a comprehensive continuum of inpatient and outpatient healthcare services, expertise and specialties, including orthopedics and spine care, cancer care, cardiac and vascular care, stroke, obstetrics & maternity care, pediatrics, emergency care as well as diagnostic imaging, screening, testing and urgent care.

The Oncology Clinical Manager will coordinate all supervisory and operational duties for the unit, overseeing registered nurses, nursing aides and unit secretaries, and coordinating care with providers as needed. The Clinical Manager delegates assignments, assign tasks, and evaluates employee job performance, keeping staff up to date with current developments in the speciality, evaluaiton of learning, coaching, mentoring as well as disciplining within the guidelines of JMC policies. Essential to the role will be to assist the Service Line Director with all operational functions, including but not limited to, staffing, QA, statistics, payroll, budget, and monitoring patient satisfaction through rounding and feedback to staff.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing


• BSN degree required, Masters degree preferred


• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.


• * American Heart Association BLS, for Heath Care Provider.


• * American Heart Association ACLS- as required by Hospital Policy.


• * Recent 2 years clinical experience and 1 year supervisor experience preferred.


• * Specialty Certification preferred.


• * Additional requirements per Department Policy.
