The Operations Supervisor will oversee the Miele business at our 3rd Party Logistic warehouse in Stockton CA. Primary responsibility is to oversee daily business and ensure location is operating efficiently and in compliance with Miele policies and contractual commitments.
The Operations Supervisor reports to the Distribution Network Manager in Princeton NJ.
This hands-on position must be both tactical and strategic and needs to lead a culture of continuous improvement for all warehouse functions.
Ensure warehouse operations run efficiently and follow Miele priorities
Work with 3PL Inventory management team to ensure 3PL and Miele book inventories are aligned and accurate.
Instill in the 3PL operations leadership team and associates that safe performance is a critical element.
Build account stability and customer satisfaction by focusing on change management, key performance indicators and continuous improvement opportunities while meeting Miele financial objectives
Work with 3PL management to develop and a Labor Management System (LMS)
Provide analytical support to examine the operation; and in particular audit its 3PL billing.
Keep sufficient level of supplies for daily operations
Challenge 3PL team to be Best in Class operation
Navigate within Miele's SaP system and the 3PL Warehouse Management System
May include other assignments including travel to other Miele operations
Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience as warehouse supervisor
Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated abilities in leadership and change management
Experience working in SAP environment helpful
Six Sigma helpful
PC literate with experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
