OSS Java Architect at Infosys Limited in Richardson, Texas

Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a OSS Java Architect. As a OSS Java Architect, this position will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; develop design of application, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution and execution. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located with in United States of America.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology

Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of Hands on & extensive experience spread across multiple architecture domains - OSS, Enterprise, System, Solution, Technology, digital etc
Proven & hands on technology cum enterprise architect, with experience in next generation architecture, consulting & thought leadership
Previous experience of designing & delivering distributed, highly available & fault tolerant systems in native and/or public cloud environment
Experience of working in agile and/or distributed scaled agile (SAFe) environment
Prior experience of Technical delivery leadership for medium to large cross functional, globally distributed & diversified team
Suggest point of views, Solution evaluation & rapid prototyping
Prior experience of working on High level and low level design artifacts, participation in code reviews & debugging/troubleshooting
Technical advisory to development teams
Experience of working with executive leadership, product and business owners to define future state blueprint, prioritize EPIC/product features, architectural runways and enablers using tools such as Rally/JIRA etc.
Domain & Technology stack MUST have requirements
Experience of working across Telecom space in the areas of Next generation OSS, OSS modernization and experience in service fulfillment domain is preferred .
Experience of working in cloud native systems development & digital technologies such as full stack development, service oriented design patterns, APIs, messaging, cloud technologies etc
Prior working experience of working in one or many of the backend and front end technologies such as
Backend Technologies - Java Microservices, Springboot, SOAP, REST, app servers such as Weblogic/JBOSS/Wildfly, Relational databases such as Oracle etc.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
