Principal Microservices API Enterprise Application Consultant at Infosys Limited in Richardson, Texas

Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Principal Microservices API Enterprise Applications Consultant. In the role , you will be responsible for interface with key stakeholders including Enterprise Architects, Engineering Head and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the fast paced Agile Microservices API & Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design, Development and consumption journey. You will be in technically leading the scrum teams in your projects on Microservices and Mulesoft technologies. You will be single point of contact for all technical matters and solutioning needed to meet the deliverables assigned to the scrum team and will be responsible for ensuring that technical dependencies are resolved, team is mentored on all technical issues and thus helping in schedule, velocity and resolution of impediments faced by the scrum team. You will work with the scrum masters / project manager and other stake holders in reporting the status to the project council.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.


• At least 11 years of Relevant Information Technology experience

• Location for this position is Richardson,TX. This position may require travel and/or relocation

• Experience with Spring Boot, Micro-services, Relational and/or NoSQL databases, knowledge in In-memory computing and RESTful API design and implementation. PostgreSQL knowledge is required


• Implementation or working experience of Continuous Integration and Continues Delivery using tools and automation capabilities such as JUnit, Mocking, TestNG, Jenkins, Git, Stash and Jira


• Demonstrated experience with object-oriented design and coding with variety of languages and proven ability to understand and use complex data structures and associated components


• Knowledge of Design patterns is required to define API/Services as per client requirement


• Knowledge of Cloud Native development and API platforms


• Experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing


• Knowledge of EAI best practices, architecture, development methodologies & standards, ability to define reusable components


• Experience in leading client interactions and driving strategy, roadmap and blueprinting


• Experience in managing large complex transformation program and project financials


• Ability to understand client requirement and communicate technical solutions, (Apigee) to customers, SMEs and architects


• Ability to balance priorities and break down complex problems


• Work with client for new solutions and Automation ideas


• Desirable to have experience of writing applications for deployment on cloud environment including Open Shift and Docker containers


• Experience with Event Driven and Reactive Programming is a plus


• Desirable to have experience with performance and monitoring tools e.g. Splunk and App Dynamics


• Analytical skills and knack of looking for non-obvious solutions


• Collaborative work ethics to thrive on peer support and taking pride in of products and capabilities delivered as a team
