The Inventory Supply Manager is responsible for managing the flow of all material in, out, and within the plant, including: receiving of ingredients and packaging material, warehousing material and staging it for production, recording production receipts, and shipping finished goods to distribution centers. The Inventory Supply Manager also is responsible for maintaining control of all inventory on-site, including: ingredients, packaging, WIP, and FGs. The Inventory Supply Manager oversees the warehouse supervisors and hourly employees in support of storage and shipping functions and collaborates with manufacturing, transportation, material planning, quality, and maintenance. At the Itasca facility, the warehouse manager also assists with certain elements of manufacturing.

Manage personnel for safe and efficient material handling and warehousing
Ensure that all inventory is accurate and handled properly in SAP throughout the reconciliation process and month-end closing
Confirm production receipts and ensure finished good product put-away from production operations
Maintain dock and storage facilities in an orderly, organized manner that encourages proper efficiency and inventory control
Ensure proper loading and unloading of trailers
Work with other departments for continuous improvement
Understand and demonstrate Ferrara's core values and operating principles
Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, GMP, and safety standards

Experience with SAP preferred or experience with other ERP
General knowledge of scanning systems, RF guns, etc.

Bilingual English/Spanish speaker a significant plus
Experiences that will support your success
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations, or sufficient equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in warehouse leadership or in a distribution manufacturing environment
Experience in or experience collaborating with transportation, logistics, manufacturing, and related fields
