HLS serves clients in Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences, Payers, Providers and Regulators. Due to high growth, opportunities exist for an Operations Transformation Director in the London office.

The successful appointee (m/f/d) will be responsible for contributing to the profile and reputation of A&M, specifically in Healthcare and Life Sciences sector with a focus on regulatory and market access projects. You will reflect the operational distinctiveness that is A&M; a business savvy, solution focused business entrepreneur who is focused on having an impact, determined to make a difference and not afraid to challenge the status-quo.

Requested key expertise areas in this context are:


  • Regulatory, in-depth knowledge of procedures in major markets, and potentially interdependencies across countries (e.g. agencies referencing other countries)

  • Market access strategy and optimization

  • Pricing

  • Contract performance monitoring & analysis

  • Compliance

  • Quality Assurance and Control

Requirements for this position:

The successful candidates (m/f/d) will have a blend of operational and commercial skills and an entrepreneurial approach. They will be a team-orientated individual with excellent financial skills and a track record of success.

Essential:


  • Extensive knowledge (c.8+ years' experience) in Regulatory and Market Access topics (ideally in a client-site focused delivery model) within the pharmaceutical industry, a top tier strategy firm, leading specialist, 'Big 4', and/or niche advisory firm and experience leading holistic performance improvement projects

  • Expertise with regulatory topics relevant in transaction situations

  • Recent, relevant experience in international Healthcare and Life Sciences operations ideally within Pharma, esp. on interdependencies of regulatory/pricing topics across boarders

  • Strong analytical skills and deep dive analysis combined with being a persuasive and effective communicator who can engage effectively with leadership teams in pressure situations.

  • An ability and willingness to travel (potentially from Day 1) to client sites, across Europe at short notice as part of the working week

  • Promotion / Master's degree or equivalent from accredited university preferably in healthcare subjects.
