Job Description
Join Takeda as a Patient Services Marketing Manager out of our Lexington, MA Office. The Patient Services Marketing Manager, reports to the Associate Director, Patient Services Marketing in U.S. Patient Services. This position is a member of the Patient Services Marketing team that works closely with the franchise Marketing Teams, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Commercial Operations, Compliance, and Corporate Communications.
How you will contribute:
You will provide Patient Services marketing support for multiple therapeutic areas within Takeda's USBU franchises (Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, Hereditary Angioedema, LSD, and Primary Immunodeficiency tactical execution).
This support includes:
Develop marketing materials to support Patient Services teams that include Clinical Educators, Patient Access Managers and Patient Support Managers
Collaborate with brand marketing teams on patient and HCP marketing initiatives by leading patient services messaging and material development
Prepare and plan for market events such as new product or device launches by leading patient services marketing efforts to create assets (marketing materials, patient communications and messaging for teams)
Lead Patient Services perception tracker research to measure awareness and sentiment across therapeutic areas
Reviewer of brand marketing assets to ensure patient services brands and content are positioned appropriately within commercial resources
Implement new patient programs or services as determined by Patient Services leadership
Liaison with quality and effectiveness team within patient services to drive for messaging and marketing excellence in training
You will support ongoing and evolving Patient Services Marketing team efforts as needed and at the direction of the Associate Director, Patient Services Marketing
You will work within Patient Services and collaborates with patient services leadership and commercial marketing teams across multiple therapeutic areas to develop marketing programs and material to support Patient Services. Provides input into brand-specific tactical plans.
You will develop internal and external marketing materials to support our patient and HCP-facing teams including Patient Support Managers, Clinical Educators, Patient Access Managers, and Hub vendors. Leads the approval and re-approval of Patient Services marketing materials though the regulatory, medical and legal approval process.
You will be responsible for tactical project management and key understanding of data and metrics. Works closely with Patient Services Vendor Management and Patient Support Leads to ensure all marketing programs are appropriately operationalized. Manages the external spend budget for specific programs and ensures appropriate resource optimization, including optimal use of external agencies.
You will work directly with other members of the Patient Services team on key programs and initiatives. Collaborates commercial marketing teams. Identifies and leverages synergies across therapeutic areas. Works closely with agencies, digital vendors and hub service vendors.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required
Candidate should have a minimum of 5 or more years of experience in Patient /Consumer Marketing
Patient Service experience in pharma / biotech rare disease preferred.
Must have experience working with Pharma/biotech promotional materials and agencies.
Proven track record of project management and tactical execution.
10 - 20% travel as required. Role will sometimes call for early or late meetings and/or attendance at business events at night and possible weekends.

Experience in developing compliant marketing approaches/platforms/business processes for biotech / rare disease Marketing
