What we do: 

The Compliance Function is an independent advisory and control function within the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. The mission of the Compliance Function is to protect the Bank and serve the public interest by ensuring that the Bank adopts sound risk-based compliance controls and by promoting a strong ethical mindset. 

Your role as Compliance and Ethics Support Analyst:


  • Supports and/or performs project work related to Function or Bank objectives, or procedure/policy reviews and updates.


  • Track and report open audit and risk items to senior management and key stakeholders.


  • Conducts quantitative and/or qualitive analysis, which may include identifying trends, monitoring data, preparing reports and/or visualizations, providing recommendations, and presenting findings.


  • Communicates effectively to all levels of staff clearly and thoughtfully.


  • Performs other duties as assigned.


What we are looking for:


  • Demonstrated ability to perform analytical responsibilities under time pressure with a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail.


  • Demonstrated proficiency with Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Tableau to develop, track, manage and report observations using small data sets.


  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving skills and attention to detail.


  • Project management skills including the ability to work well under pressure, on multiple projects both independently or within a group.


  • Ability to work independently with general supervision, and support projects/processes.
