Enterprise Systems Architect at Arhaus in Boston Heights, Ohio

Job Description:

The Enterprise Systems Architect is the leading expert responsible for technical oversight and planning of the architecture, administration, maintenance, and infrastructure for Arhaus cloud and on-premises applications, collaboration technologies, and core systems. This position is located in our Corporate Headquarters in Boston Heights, Ohio.


Responsibilities:



  • Develop and drive the implementation of enterprise technology roadmap

  • Work closely with business partners to understand business needs and strategic goals then work to identify, pilot, and drive meaningful enterprise class solutions to support them

  • Create business case and ROI documentation to aid business and IT leadership in making informed decisions on technology

  • Provides technical leadership and change ownership

  • Be a thought leader for not only technology, but best practices, enterprise readiness, standards, stability, and automation

  • Be a trusted partner and advocate to/for Cyber Security, Compliance, and Privacy

  • Be trusted partner with all lines of business to understand and drive delivery of meaningful, supportable, and secure technology that will enable the business to grow

  • Lead, document, and report on pilots, and proofs of technology and concept

  • Lead small and medium size project initiatives and provides technical expertise to IT staff

  • Conduct feasibility studies and participates in the development of technical standards

  • Leveraging Python or similar scripting tools to automate low value or repeatable processes

  • Provides specifications and detailed drawings of present and future enterprise architecture

  • ML Model to identify drifts in configuration

  • Keep abreast of new technology developments and champion changes to current standards, procedures, and solutions

  • Provide structural designs for projects from a technical perspective

  • Work with the Business Continuity and Backup & Recovery teams to develop, publish, and implement plans which assure disaster preparedness and high availability for responsible systems

  • Provide mentorship and training to the administrators and associate systems engineers in the Systems Administration Organization

  • Serve as technical architect for complex IT projects

  • Act as a final escalation point for technical issues

  • Other duties as assigned 


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in computer science, information systems, or related field of study or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years of experience creating technical architecture documentation and diagrams

  • 3+ years of experience designing and engineering cloud-based systems

  • 3+ years of experience creating PowerShell and/or Linux Shell Scripts and complex automation

  • Large Enterprise expertise with virtualization/cloud, networking, Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365 Services, SQL, and DNS

  • A proficient working understanding of Cyber Security, Compliance, and Privacy concepts and best practices

  • Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to explain complicated technological concepts in business terms

  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically
