Job Title: Plan Sponsor Associate

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Utilizing local offices with non-commissioned sales representatives, they offer a wide variety of retirement savings plans and services, including 401(k), 403(b), and 457(b) deferred compensation plans.  Mutual of America also provides investment vehicles to individuals for their retirement and other long-term financial needs.

Division: Marketing / Centralized Service Center

The Western and Mid-Western Regional offices will have a centralized service center which will be based out of Phoenix, AZ. This team of individuals will support the regional sales offices across these two territories and manage the ongoing relationships with our clients, supporting and processing their requests.

Responsibilities:

The Plan Sponsor Associate position will focus on engaging, building and strengthening their region’s current clients.

1. Handle routine client calls and mail. Prepare appropriate responses and enter information into database


2. Assist the regional CRMs with materials and reports, such as Nondiscrimination Test results, 5500 filings, audit packages etc.


3. Assist clients and regional CRM’s with remittance inquiries


4. Perform research to resolve inquiries and problems and other duties assigned

Required Qualifications:

1. Excellent business writing, presentation, and phone skills


2. Client relationship management experience


3. Ability to handle pressure, prioritize, and multitask during a business day


4. Ability to work flexible hours

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
