Responsibilities
What do our Aerial Pilot's do?
Be able to keep a clean, tidy work environment
Always maintain a professional attitude while representing VDCI
Preflight and post flight aircraft thoroughly
Report all aircraft squawks in a timely manner to Chief
Pilot and/or the Director of Maintenance
Loading and unloading of aircraft
Fly aerial missions as required
Act at times as liaison between customers, Chief Pilot and/or Assistant Chief Pilot.
Be licensed and maintain aerial licenses in required states that missions are flown
Maintain a valid second-class medical certificate
Participate in all company required in house functions
Document all flight data as required by FAR's, state and local requirements
Comply with all OSHA, state, and government requirements regarding PPE, Hazmat safety, Comply with all company flight ops. and FAA regulations as required
What do you need?
FAA Commercial pilot certificate
Flight instructor ratings with Instrument and Multi-engine land
300/1000 hours of total flight time
100/350 hours of Multi-engine time
25 hours within the last 12 calendar months
100/300 hrs. of part 137 work
Has served as an Intern Pilot for a min of 1 season (April-November)
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Available to work Monday-Friday and some weekends, as needed
Ability to obtain and maintain mandatory licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations
Must pass pre-employment background screen and drug test
Must possess a valid driver's license and motor vehicle record search
