Basic Job Functions:



Nucor Steel, a Fortune 100 employer, is seeking qualified applicants for an Inside Sales Representative located at our plant offices in Marion, Ohio.


Nucor Inside Sales Representatives work directly with our customers, managing inquiries, orders, releases, and other tasks associated with exceeding customer's expectations. This includes working together to achieve common goals with our Commercial and Operational team, while maintaining focus on quality, service, and productivity.


Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.




Minimum Qualifications:



• Prior experience in sales or equivalent business related field.




Preferred Qualifications:



• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or two years of experience in a related field with a focus on increasing customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge in Microsoft applications is desired. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with EBS and Oracle products a plus
