Job Description:
- Responsible for providing personalized companion care and non-medical assistance to the assigned resident.
- Responsible for providing assistance with daily activites such as meal preparation, minor housekeeping duties, medication reminder, errands and in-home companionship.
- Responsible for providing short-term, temporary relief to those who are caring for family members (respite care).
- Will accompany the resident to social and recreational activities.
- Provide companionship, friendship/friendly conversation and emotional support.
- May assist the resident in keeping in contact with family and friends.
- May assist the resident with meal planning and preparation.
Must have one year of healthcare experience, with one year of experience as a Companion preferred. Must be CPR certified.
