We are hiring! We are seeking a Document Control Coordinator to join our Community Intermodal Infrastructure Business Unit. This position is based out of Denver, CO.

Program Management services are increasingly helping Atkins clients manage mid-sized to large capital programs. Atkins has emerged as one of the leading A&E firms in providing owner’s representation and consultancy services for oversight of these capital programs, with an ever-growing knowledge base on function supports including Controls, Project Management, Communications, Finance, Alternative Delivery, and many other areas. As Atkins North America (ANA) continues to grow this practice, the West Sector within the C&II BU (Community Intermodal Infrastructure Business Unit) seeks subject matter expertise focused on Transportation Finance, Alternative Delivery, and Controls.

How will you contribute to the team?


  • Ensure document control procedures are followed as required by client and/or contract.


  • Provide training to management and technical/administrative staff in area of responsibility in matters of document control.


  • Perform quality control reviews in the area of document control for area of responsibility.


  • Revise and maintain the Standard Operating Procedures manual for area of responsibility.


  • Maintain and update information on relevant team site(s), if applicable.


  • Coordinate document production in legal matters.


  • Maintain document control system in area of responsibility.


  • May perform such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.


What will you contribute?


  • Bachelor's degree in related field(s) of practice, or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • General office experience and at least three years of experience with applicable word processing software, preferably within the engineering/environmental industry, is required.  Must be skilled with Microsoft Windows operating system.


  • Familiarity with project management and engineering terminology is helpful

  • Must be proficient at typing, have excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills; be skilled with basic and advanced features of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint; possess working knowledge of good page layout, typography, color, and composition, and have general file management ability.


  • This position requires a working knowledge of the following applications: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.


  • Ability to determine work priorities and handle multiple reports simultaneously. Ability to follow directions and standard operating procedures for file organization and setup.


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Pay Range: $34,148 - $56,913
