ACT Program Manager/Team Lead

WESTERN MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

Marshall, MN

Western Mental Health Center in Marshall, MN, is looking for a full time Mental Health Professional to be the Program Manager/Team Lead for an Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT). ACT is a team treatment approach designed to provide comprehensive, community-based psychiatric treatment, rehabilitation, and support to persons with serious and persistent mental illness. This individual must have one year of appropriate prior clinical and rehabilitative supervisory experience and be a LICSW, PsyD, or Doctoral LP. The team lead will provide administrative services as well as direct services to clients. This individual will be responsible for admissions, utilization management and step-down discharge decisions. They will also take the lead in assessments, rehabilitation planning and documentation to adhere to professional and Medicaid standards. Must be able to work with an inter-disciplinary team and have excellent communication and documentation skills. Travel will be required in a five county area.

The ACT team is a closely-knit team that works well together balancing their individual strengths and training to move their clients towards recovery. The team consists of a nurse practitioner, RNs, mental health practitioner, licensed professionals, co-occurring, vocational and skills building team members.
