Primary Job Functions:

• Ensure the produce quality being dumped or being dipped from fermentation tanks meets company standards. 


• Ensure tanking procedures as followed.


• Ensure tanks are clean and sanitary before filling.


• Make brine as needed.


• Undertake heading and opening of tanks when needed. 


• Dip tanks as requested.


• Assist in unloading of produce from delivery trucks.


• Report repairs needed of equipment, tanks and anything needed in all areas of work to supervision.


• Ensure tanking batch sheets are filled out completely and accurately before turning in.


• Assist crew in production of pepper batches. 


• Operate grounds maintenance equipment (lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, saws, etc.) Assist with plant and facility housekeeping responsibilities. 


• Assist co-workers whenever necessary.


• Maintain work areas in a safe and clean manner.


• Have work areas properly secured at end of shift.


• Work safe and report all unsafe working conditions and/or unsafe acts to supervisor immediately.


• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.


• Responsible to ensure food safety/quality polices are followed, to report all food safety/quality problems out of his/her realm of responsibility to personnel with the authority to initiate action.


• Responsible to make sure a good safe wholesome product is produced safely. All other duties as required.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

• Forklift experience
