A Hospital in Southern West Virginia is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Director of Nursing to join their award-winning leadership team. The leading medical center is seeking an experienced nursing leader with acute care oversight . 

The Medical Center has been servicing the Southern West Virginia population for a century now. Hospital offers a full range of services including trauma, OB, advanced imaging services, cardiac care, oncology, sports medicine, surgical services, and rehabilitation. The Hospital is part of a nationally recognized Health system. Accredited by the joint commission the hospital treats more than 50,000 patients through the trauma designated emergency room. 

The Medical Surgical Director of Nursing will be joining a medical center that houses more than 250 licensed beds, providing patient centered quality care. The next Medical Surgical Director of Nursing will oversee  optimum quality patient care by serving as reference and resource person for staff, patient and family.They will also be responsible for coordinating patient care with other departments and collaborating with other Nursing leadership throughout the organization. The Medical Surgical Director of Nursing will monitor unit performance and effectiveness implementing policies and procedures when necessary according to hospital guidelines.
