Director of Case Management at Clinical Management Consultants in Gardena, California

Job Description:

A new opening for a Director of Case Management has become available at a very large, and highly accredited hospital in Southern California outside of Los Angeles. This acute care facility carries 450+ beds, with over 1500 employees working there. 

The responsibilities of the Director of Case Management will vary, but they will have 50+ FTE's reporting up to them, while reporting directly up to the Executive Director of the facility. This is a large role, as the Director must be comfortable with directing, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of the operating functions, processes, and staff members of the facility. This role is in charge of patient and employee to oversee the entire facility in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of every person that walks through the door. In the case of absence of the Director, one must appoint another staff member to take their place and hold all responsibility until their return. The Director of Case Management may carry responsibilities including:

• Coordinating meetings with staff members and management team to implement changes that will help to achieve all improvement targets


• Take part in interviewing, hiring, and performance reviews within the facility while managing the daily duties of population health department


• Focus on improving all healthcare outcomes while monitoring performance standards

In order to apply, you must have 6+ years of experience in case management within a medical department, as well as at least 4+ years of experience in a management role. The facility is also looking for a registered nurse to fill the role of Director of Case Management at this time.
