An award-winning teaching hospital located in upstate New York is currently searching for an experienced Hospital Network Laboratory Manager to join their accredited healthcare team.

This state-of-the-art acute care hospital is home to nearly 200 licensed beds and provides comprehensive care to over 600,000 patients annually. The Network Laboratory Manager will work within an acute care hospital system that provides advanced services such as open-heart surgery, specialized cancer treatments, emergency and trauma care, cardiac and vascular care, neurosurgery, perioperative services, women’s health, pediatrics, and much more. The Network Laboratory Manager will oversee the daily operations of the health system laboratory service line. Reporting to the Director of Laboratory Services, the Manager leads the quality control activities, personnel management, regulatory readiness, operating procedures and system policies, budget and fiscal oversight, and the overall success of the lab. The Network Laboratory Manager will lead a full-service laboratory that is fully accredited by the New York State Department of Health Clinical Evaluation Unit and the Joint Commission. This service line provides a number of services including Chemistry, Coagulation, Microbiology, Pathology, Phlebotomy, Urinalysis, Hematology, Histology, Cytology, and Blood Transfusion services.

Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Lab Science or related field


• NYS certified Clinical Laboratory Technologist


• 3-5 years of progressive laboratory leadership experience preferred
