In the role of Associate Creative Director, you empower a team of world-class art directors and designers to create concepts across all mediums for products, product launches and campaigns. You have a deep love of Apple and Apple products, and you will direct work that captivates both current and potential customers for one of the most beloved brands. We're looking for an Associate Creative Director that will be an integral leader of the team, with the responsibility of leading the development of innovative and compelling creative. You will craft clear, inspiring, and alluring on-device storytelling for our products-from conceptualization to delivery. Key Qualifications 12+ years of design, art direction and motion graphics experience with at least 3 years of leadership experience. Expert ability to foster a team toward developing innovative work across a broad range of media. You're naturally curious and have an awareness toward the evolving landscape of available tools, technologies, resources, and trends. You're well apt in traditional graphic design, branding, photography, CGI and art direction as it pertains to print, digital, and motion. Excellent design and conceptual skills accompanied by the ability to guide and evaluate, and if necessary, redirect creative development. We are looking for a motivated and driven Art Director that can naturally guide a team to tackle complex problems with simple solutions. We desire a strong communicator with persuasive presentation skills. Someone who is able to articulate ideas in a clear manner, encourage healthy debate, and accept directional feedback. Our candidate also exhibits sound organizational skills that promote collaboration. You should have in-depth knowledge of the creative development process, including efficiently staffing projects, providing timely and effective feedback to improve creative solutions, and producing work on schedule. Ideally you can balance leading projects, other teams, vendors, freelancers, and photographers. Excellent skills with design software, primarily the Adobe Creative Suite. 3D Software knowledge is a huge plus. Description You're an influential leader that drives our group toward results - brainstorming, coordinating, and collaborating frequently in order to bring Apple's key elements of design to life. Possess an eye for aesthetic and know how to create a powerful story through the work. You'll lead the successful creation and production of screen content assets, following creative direction, product briefs, and driving long-term screen content strategies that move the Apple brand forward. Having a macro and micro mentality will be key. Guidance of the team towards excellent design in accordance with project constraints and parameters. Creation of persuasive presentations to executive staff members. The ACD will partner closely and cross-functionally with Human Interface Design, Interactive, Brand and Production teams. Knowledgeable about the latest Apple OS systems, Apple Software programs, and UI elements, along with the apps and other inspiration to keep content fresh. You will use your experience and intuition to help the team navigate ambiguity. With skillful communication, you will debate and prioritize input from different functional groups and executives. Knowing how to quickly react to new information, opinions, and direction and understanding when to strategically pivot is critical. You'll build content that reflects Apple's values, and that is culturally relevant. Provide thoughtful guidance to your creative staff with attention to detail on career pathing, mentorship, and guidance is a lasting attribute! Education & Experience BA or BFA degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics or a related field preferred.
