Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Principal Business Consultant- Design & Innovation. In this role you will be working for large global corporations, disruptive companies, companies trying to navigate the tumultuous digital transformation chasms. You will operate in Agile worlds, design & engineering pods, helping clients define their innovation roadmap and functional requirements, transform their complex worlds with modular (human centric) design led technology solutions.
As a Design and Innovation lead at Infosys, you will be expected to be well versed with systems thinking, design thinking, innovation frameworks, disruption principles, and be a natural problem solver? You will be hands on with incubation and rapid prototyping to demonstrate the impact of new innovations and concepts to internal and external stakeholders. From a design and innovation standpoint, you should be c omfortable working with our clients on their Design and Innovation transformation which falls into three themes:


  • Strategic Innovation: identification, experimentation and scaling up of ideas around a strategic theme to disrupt, pivot, majorly reshape business objectives

  • Future of Work: Hybrid workplace, Gig economy, Future of Colloboration. Well being and employee productivity - reimagining work at the intersection of people, process and technology

  • Human Centric Adoption Management: systems design thinking to ensure people, process, technology align to deliver business outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Candidate must be located within the United States. This position may require travel in the US.
• At least of 11 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred Qualification :
• Take leadership of project, team, and client relationship
• Lead and inspire large and diverse teams' multi-disciplinary groups comprised of 10-20 internal and client stakeholder's during design thinking/co-creation prints, providing clear vision, direction, and allocating roles based on skills, strengths, and business need
• Define, design, and execute qualitative research (e.g., format, scope, candidate, interview guides, survey content, etc.) ; Build insights, reframe problems, and generate and iterate on new solutions along the product solution continuum
• Produce Service Design blueprints, illustrated systems, and journey maps, concept designs, service experience prototypes, empathy maps, and value proposition proposals to build and improve products and services based on hypotheses and assumptions
• Lead synthesis and summarizing of content for executive audiences; This includes crafting the story of how the strategic design recommendation fits into a company's overall strategy, the underlying business model, and any implementation risks.
• Provide guidance and oversight for team members mentoring, and guiding them for on the job learning
• Manage projects via dialogue, transparent communication, project management, facilitation, and leadership skills to inspire the client / partner/ Infosys team to deliver the best creative ideas and outcomes
• Work with client's interdisciplinary teams of product, design, and engineering in the development of new ideas, using a digital-first mindset and the contemporary product management techniques of digital native companies (e.g., human centered design, minimum viable product, rapid prototyping, etc. )
• Lead the business perspective on relevance to client, business modeling/case/reason to invest - articulates the "Business Design Challenge" to ensure potential user and business impacts are relevant and defined early (e.g., what problem are we trying to solve? What impact do we want to have? What are possible solutions? What context and constraints do we need to keep in mind? how to calibrate for change, how do incentivize adoption?)
• Demonstrate ability to marry in-depth knowledge of client system landscape/business problems and Infosys capabilities to think holistically about the design of a new offering/solution and the implications related to both the business objectives as well as the organization's ability to implement and scale. This includes working closely with length and breadth of client organizations to develop strategies, timelines, and operational models that appropriately consider the organizational needs, aspirations, business realities.
• Strategy or innovation or digital consulting experience a plus
• Product design/development experience, with a strong focus on innovative product development a plus
• Proven record of planning and conducting research programs, developing insights and envisioning desirable human futures, and translating concepts into action is required
• Proven Systems approach to complex and often ambiguous problems, to design and value creation, with exhibited ability to identify relevant assumptions and to model value, potential ROI, etc.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
