Work Study/Student Financial Coordinator
Morningside University is accepting applications for the full-time position of Work Study/Student Financial Coordinator in the Student Financial Planning Office. The primary responsibility for the Work Study Coordinator/Student Financial Coordinator is to compliment the Student Financial Planning Office by providing support services that include supervision of the Work Study Program and administers the private scholarship program.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing and coordinating the Work Study/Campus Payroll programs
Act as liaison with off campus agencies
Administers the Annual and Endowed Scholarships
Administers the process for private scholarships
Package New and Returning Student Awards in compliance with internal, state, and federal policies and guidelines
Updates and maintains financial aid information with the US Department of Education
Counsels students and parents on the financial aid process and the eligibility criteria
Qualifications:
Must have superior interpersonal and organizational skills
Customer service-oriented attitude
Excellent computer skills
Strong oral and written communication skills are required
Ability to work well with faculty, administrators, general public and students is essential
