Job Description:

Nemours is seeking an IT Enterprise Architect (Imaging Informatics/Research), to join our Nemours Children's Health team. This is a Remote position.

The primary responsibility of the IT Enterprise Architect - Imaging Informatics, Research is to create and lead the technology strategy for Imaging Informatics' Research Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and Imaging platforms and to ensure that the respective business, application, data and technology perspectives are in line with the overarching organization's technology and governance strategies, policies, and standards. This position is expected to ensure that the IT architecture for the Research PACS and Imaging platforms are designed to meet the research needs of all clinical divisions utilizing it, to work cohesively with the existing clinical PACS, and is maintained in a coherent manner and that appropriate considerations are made for its security, quality and reusability.

• Develops business focused technology strategies and solution roadmaps for Imaging Informatics' Research PACS/Imaging platforms that are easily consumed by the business and clearly demonstrate how selected solutions support organizational goals and objectives.
• Directs and participates in all activities related to the design, development, and maintenance of Enterprise Architecture for the Research PACS and Imaging Platforms and implemented software solutions.
• Assumes a significant role in establishing and maintaining technology governance processes such as an Architecture Review Board and/or Data Governance Committee.
• Researches and selects appropriate technology for solutions, develops technical content for RFI/RFP's and leads the evaluation process. Assists in the development of budgetary estimates for the implementation of selected solutions.
• Drives the maturation of the architecture processes, methods and tools, including the facilitation of IT maturity assessment for architecture and other IT areas.
• Leads root cause, troubleshooting or problem resolution teams to resolve chronic production problems. Presents findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and/or oral presentations to Supervisor, Project Manager, and/or Peers.
• Collaborates with all relevant parties in order to review the objectives and constraints of each solution and determine conformance with the enterprise architecture. Identifies implementation risks and potential impacts to the enterprise and the achievement of scheduled objectives.
• Serves as a mentor to coach teams on enterprise architecture as required.

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field including Radiology required.
• Minimum of 5+ years of IT experience working in large scale, heterogeneous IT environments with deep technical expertise in at least two technology domains and a broad understanding of how that technology supports Line of Business functions to deliver business value required.
• Knowledge of Picture Archiving Communications Systems (PACS).
