Job Purpose

The purpose of the Human Resources Generalist is to work closely with the Sr. Human Resources Manager along with a complete Human Resources Team assisting with meeting business objectives while providing customer service to our employees within the organization. The Human Resources Generalist will coordinate various Human Resources activities including compensation, benefits, labor relations, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implement necessary employee and management training


• Maintain employee records related to termination, LOA, transfers, reviews, employment status, disciplinary, and promotions within HRIS system


• Provide answers to employees pertaining to questions related to HR policies/standards, changes, and laws/regulations. Escalate issues or concerns to Sr. Human Resources Manager as required


• Be point of contact for employee related issues such as compensation, benefits, working conditions, or promotion opportunities


• Work closely with employees and management team to increase productivity, build moral, and improve work relationships


• Manage new employee orientation for hourly and salary employees


• Assist with coordinating and facilitating employee engagement events and meetings


• Other responsibilities assigned by Senior Human Resources Manager

Qualifications and Experience

• Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field


• 3 5 years of Human Resources Experience


• Experience in a manufacturing environment


• Strong organizational skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook


• HRIS system knowledge


• Strong communication skills


• Strong attention to detail and follow through


• Ability to work in high pace environment to meet deadlines


• Exercise good judgement and maintain confidentiality
