Job DescriptionAbout This Role This Associate Director role is an exciting opportunity to leverage your tenure and breadth of commercial insight experience in the biopharmaceutical industry to lead a team to build new markets globally, in areas of high unmet need. This is a people management position, accountable to providing strategic thought partnerships to multiple pipeline asset teams. This is a highly valued role working with cross-functional partners across global, regional, and local teams to prepare assets for launch readiness. This job reports directly to the Head of Global Customer & Market Insights with direct reports aligned to business needs. This is a hybrid role that does not have mandated in-office requirements at this time. What You'll Do People management - Lead a talented team of individual contributors to compliantly generate insight for multiple pipeline asset teamsDesign and orchestate the insight agenda for multiple pipeline asset teamsBuild & manage global CI Programs, inclusive of regular market landscape deliverables and co-leading competitive readiness team with subject matter expertsLead a team to compliantly generate global primary market research insight aligned with launch readiness timelinesConsulting skills to partner with cross-functional/regional stakeholders to synthesize insight into frameworks from which the organization can align on strategies for launchUtilize your clear crisp communication with executive and senior global audiencesLeverage your prior in-market and/or US commercial experience to support commercial teams to build highly relevant launch readiness plans in competitive and/or rare disease neurology categories with high unmet needCollaboration supportLead the Global CI Center of ExcellenceWho You Are You are a driven, experienced, well-rounded biopharma insights professional with the ability to own a high-profile part of the business. You have an insatiable curiosity for building new markets globally and a passion for enable the best customer experience. You have strong technical skills and are extremely comfortable setting the pace so that your team can deliver collaboratively in a matrixed environment. QualificationsRequired Skills 7+ years of experience in a life sciences consulting firm, pharmaceutical company, competitive intelligence or market research vendor supporting the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably in a US insights roleStrong business acumen and strategic thinking skillsExcellent communication skillsStrong competitive intelligence backgroundAbility to manage multiple global Market Research projects simultaneouslyPeople Management experienceHighly collaborative team player, to work in a matrixed environment and manage the needs of multiple stakeholdersAbility to travel as needed; up to 20%Bachelors degree; MBA or advanced degree preferredPreferred SkillsExperience working across multiple categories at once - competitive, larger, rare, chronic, acute care, neurology marketsBackground in scientific/engineering structured thinking helpful Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.PDN-976caefe-835b-4554-8f84-5fcab16c69f9
