Job DescriptionAbout This RoleThe Manager of Process Engineering will manage a subgroup of the Process Engineering function within the Global Engineering Department to maintain highly reliable and compliant process equipment and systems that support Bulk Drug Substance manufacturing. This involves supervising the performance of the department against operational goals and managing group of 5-10 staff. What You'll DoProvide supervision and direction to direct reports for execution and prioritization of activities to support the DS manufacturing schedule.Maintain the process equipment and engineering systems in a safe and compliant state. Align procedures and best practices across sites. Present department programs to regulatory agencies. In absence of the Process Engineering AD or at the discretion of the Process Engineering AD, review and approve major deviations or other compliance documents requiring director level approval.Support Technology Transfers and the related equipment design, installation, commissioning, and validation activities to support the manufacturing scheduleWith the Process Eng AD and peer managers, co-manage the operational expense and capital budgets. Identify and implement system improvements and capital upgrades.
