All personnel need to be technical in background to have worked agile development efforts and able to support Defense Business System (DBS) and Software Acquisition Pathway processes for both the planning and execution phases. Initially will be working to complete all required Planning Phase deliverables, obtain defined Agile requirements (Epics, Features, Stories) from the Marine Corps Global Force Management Agile Team. Need to establish a mirror, stage, and production environment prior to Execution Phase. Integrate the Contractor System Intergration Team once onboard. This system will also develop and deploy a DISA Cross Domain Enterprise Solution.Responsibilities and DutiesIn support of the Government SMDS Team lead by the SMDS Lead Systems Engineer support establishing SMDS Global Force Management Agile requirements gathering, analysis, definition, and management of the requirements repository (JIRA). Assist with completing all Software Acquisiton Pathway Planning Phase deliverables. Producing requirement mock-ups, or other visual representations to the SMDS Agile Team to obtain requirements approval and definition needed for development and testing. Support all SMDS Requirements Refinement Meetings, taking meeting minutes and producing other requirements engineering artifacts as needed Additional requirements engineering support and tasks as needed.The MPT&E DIV SMDS PMO Requirements Engineer will establish, coordinate and manage all SMDS Requirements Engineering activities and processes to develop the SMDS production baseline. The MPT&E DIV Requirements Engineer will, complete the following specific tasks,but will not be limited to the following:Develop, establish, and maintain all requirements engineering documentation and processes required to begin the SMDS Version 1.0 SWP Planning Phase in coordination with the Lead Systems Engineer. Support the Lead Systems Engineer in preparing engineering documentation required for the future SWAP execution phase.Working with the SMDS System Integrator (SI) team establish, and maintain the SMDS JIRA and Confluence agile data repositories. Establish the requirements structure within JIRA and Confluence that will encompass the Epics, Features, and Stories with links to each story's test scripts and testing results.Assist in the development of all SMDS programmatic or technical documentation as required. Support the development and maintenance of the Software Development Plan, Test Plan, and Configuration Management Plan. Support the development of the SMDS Acquisition Strategy, Test Strategy, and Cybersecurity Strategy.Lead the Marine Corps SMDS business area Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with support from the Senior Project Manager/Customer Manager to define requirements, develop architecture documents, and additional requirements documentation which can include mock-ups to fully define the agile requirements for the Global Force Management & Force Planning and some initial capability for the Capabilities Planning business areasFacilitate developing and documenting the high-level SMDS agile requirements with the SMDS business area SMEs and Requirements Lead for the future increments of SMDS that will provide Monitor the Force, Resourcing, and Force Generation Current & FutureProvide SMDS requirements engineering back-briefs, reports, and presentations as requiredIntegrated with the PEO/MLB, PM NABS Engineering staff to be provided assistance with Command engineering practices, policies, and proceduresSupport the Lead Systems Engineer with management of the SMDS BacklogProvide SMDS JIRA and Confluence training to the SMDS Integrated Product Team (IPT), and Navy/Marine Corps Technical Review Board Command Leadership personnelPerform all additional government Program Management Office duties as assigned to the Requirements Engineer team position Qualifications and SkillsRequired knowledge and years of experience5 years experience required Clearance RequirementSecret Clearance RequiredBenefits and PerksAt STF, we recognize that talented employees are the foundation of our success.
