Job Description:

The Lundquist Institute is looking for an Information and Referral Assistant II to join our team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years' experience as an Information and Referral Assistant I utilizing current WIC Management Information System (MIS) software and equipment. WIC Nutrition Assistant training completed. A 2-year degree in a computer-related field may be accepted in lieu of WIC Program experience. The position requires in depth knowledge and familiarity with WIC Program regulations, policies, and procedures.

Description of Duties:

•Under the direction of the WIC MIS Manager, assists with managing calls to the Lundquist WIC MIS Help Desk and Central Telephone Office (CTO)

•Provides technical assistance and guidance to WIC staff using WIC Program and WIC MIS regulations and guidelines

•Plans, develops, and conducts WIC MIS trainings for WIC staff in virtual and in-person settings

•Acts as a technical liaison between State WIC Technical Support and the Lundquist WIC sites

•Assists in conducting MIS and CTO quality assurance activities and maintaining security

•Troubleshoots MIS and CTO technical problems that occur throughout Lundquist WIC

•Reports technical, software, and network problems to the appropriate personnel, as directed

•Performs routine MIS functions including user assistance with PCs, thin clients, printers, and computer monitors

•Provides basic technical support including but not limited to Mitel, Teletask, and Zoom

•Generates routine data reports to assist with WIC Program Operations
