Position Summary

J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc., a leading supplier of safety and compliance solutions, has an exciting opportunity for a dynamicField Sales Executive. This position works in partnership with a dedicated Inside Sales Representative to driveFleet Safety Servicesrevenue for an assigned account base within theNortheast Region.

As a key part of our Corporate Accounts platform, the Field Sales Executive position is responsible for selling a diverse suite of J. J. Keller products and services, including SaaS solutions, Training Content, and Consulting Services to C-level contacts. This home office position requiresfrequent travelto client sites and must reside within the Northeast region. We offer a competitive base salary along with monthly/quarterly/annual bonus incentives, which includes a guaranteed bonus each month for the first 12 months.

Job Responsibilities


  • Sells a variety of products and services to customers within assigned account base by working collaboratively with an inside sales partner.
  • Develops and implements selling strategies for each assigned company.
  • Develops supply agreements, contracts, merchandising and pricing strategies as appropriate.
  • Works with business units on the negotiation of pricing, terms and conditions and other key agreement components.
  • Organizes and manages the sales process for each account to capitalize on selling opportunities and ensure all follow-up activities are handled in a timely manner, including transition to the implementation staff.
  • Continuously qualifies and develops accounts by identifying additional contacts/buyers and sales opportunities. If an opportunity is identified for another sales area, takes appropriate action to transition the lead.
  • Services all customers, internal and external, in a professional manner. Resolves customer service problems to the mutual satisfaction of both the company and the customer.
  • Accurately completes and processes necessary documentation related to customers and sales transactions, including all expense reporting.
  • Coordinates customer visits as appropriate.

Qualifications

Experience


  • Field sales experience selling cloud-based applications, and/or related Transportation products and services.
  • Experience selling to and negotiating with large enterprise level clients preferred.
  • Experience building strategic business partnerships and navigating complex business cycles.
  • Strong understanding of the Transportation industry desired.

Education


  • Bachelor's degree in Business related field; in lieu of a bachelor's degree would consider a minimum of 4 years of field sales experience.

  • Business development skills and ability to utilize a consultative sales approach.
  • Ability to manage sales process independently and in collaboration with inside sales associates.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management, planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills. Independent problem-solving skills. Confident, assertive, and goal oriented.
  • Must possess valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to travel approximately 40% - 50% of the time.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment.Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Frequent airplane or car travel required for this position.

Travel Requirement: 40% - 50%

Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply): Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's overall experience and geographic location.
