By joining Chubb as a Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll be joining a team instrumental to our enterprise-wide digital transformation. You’ll partner directly with business stakeholders, architects, and technical leads across different areas of our business to understand business needs and help to build optimized and scalable digital platforms, capabilities, and analytics that revitalize how insurance is purchased and consumed across product lines and regions globally. Working within an agile framework, you’ll have an opportunity to guide your business partners in thorough requirements and testing strategies while owning issue resolution and leading user acceptance testing. In this role, you will:


  • Develop and implement complex, large-scale applications capable of integrating with multiple internal/external systems and processing large data sets

  • Engage in development efforts across the full SDLC from design and coding through to test, build, QA, deployment, and maintenance

  • Leverage your experience with cloud infrastructure to build cloud based software solutions and support the migration of applications to the cloud

  • Support the migration of applications to server-less architecture solutions

  • Partner with business stakeholders to drive the development of acceptance criteria along with plans to facilitate user acceptance testing that ensure solutions built meet business needs

  • Directly contribute to the QA team’s test strategy and approach to ensure that the designed solutions satisfy the business requirements

  • Provide the production support teams with guidance and business knowledge on reported issues


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline

  • 6+ years of experience with .Net Framework in a supervisory or team leadership capacity

  • 3+ years of experience with web API (.Net core) as well as some/many of the following: ASP.Net MVC, HTML, CSS, Angular or React or similar framework

  • Experience with Azure Development (IAAS, PAAS, Key vault, Azure functions, Blob, App Insights)

  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models

  • Knowledge of both Agile Project Management and DevOps tools and practices including and/many of the following:

    • Jira, Confluence, MS Project, MS Visio, and/or Clarity

    • GitHub, Jenkins, ELK, Nagios



  • Solid understanding of SDLC models with the proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met

 

In Jersey City, NJ the pay range for the role is $101,000 to $172,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.  Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found at https://careers.chubb.com/global/en/north-america.  This range is specific to Jersey City, NJ and may not be applicable to other locations.
