Position Title: Sr Network Records Specialist - Small Cell - T3

Role


Review and manage Small Cell asset data through the use of the Network Records Systems (NRS) that includes connectivity software, GIS mapping and reporting, and the relationships with Legal Contract abstractions, financial ERP systems, Property Management software.


 


Responsibilities



  • Research, analyze and respond to post-construction asset acceptance requests to ensure accurate small cell network classification and related attributes

  • Analyze and manage NRS data and corresponding relationships to internal platforms and utilization, contracts and financial data to ensure proper downstream reporting and interpretation within/between all systems

  • Create and/or update objects in NRS per Service Delivery workflow or Network Expansion

  • Execute quality checks on the data to ensure asset integrity and resolve data conflicts to maintain compliance

  • Analyze data quality trending data to identify training opportunities. Present corrective action suggestions to department management teams

  • Serve as a key resource in process and system enhancements to promote efficiency and effective data flow between systems and processes 

  • Interface with NRS resources on bug fixes, new releases and feature enhancements

  • Test automation and integration opportunities within NRS

  • Perform UAT software release and bug fixes within NRS 

  • Review standards and procedures to continuously enhance the use of the NRS 

  • Create reports for management teams, including but not limited to area field teams, Finance, Accounting, Property Tax, Corporate Reporting, Business Performance, Engineering and Operations

  • Provide technical support to user base including Engineering, area field teams, the NOC, and Change Management via phone, email or Helpdesk ticket

  • Develop and enhance standard and ad hoc reporting to provide data integrity, volumes and cycle time metrics, and guidance for management decision making 

  • Lead special projects involving customer requests, data reconciliation, system integrations 

  • Train and mentor new Network Records Specialists

  • Facilitate and attend meetings as departmental SME

  • Analyze data from NRS applications to determine asset relationship between new sales proposals and existing outside plant to ensure proper application of Customer Contract terms related to asset use

  • Present created reports in dashboard format using Microsoft Power BI or similar for presentation to department leadership with recommendations for improvements 

  • Serve as citizen developers for RPA applications within the Network Records group to enhance, troubleshoot existing RPA and develop requirements and support for new RPA applications for the group. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

Job Knowledge



  • Experience working in an asset NRS

  • Understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, technology and its relationship with other functions within the business

  • Ability to comprehend various documentation sets as it relates to telecommunications infrastructure and technology

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio)

  • Proficiency in ESRI ecosystem (ArcGIS Professional, ArcGIS Online) is a plus


 


Job Experience    



  • 5+ years’ experience working in an asset NRS or related system


 


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, EE, Telecommunications, Accounting or related field or equivalent years of experience, education and/or training


 


Work Plan: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week).  There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that requires up to 25% travel.
