Job Description:


Responsible for supporting new business proposals by developing accurate and timely customer quotations based on analysis of customer’s technical specifications, product costs, and delivery requirements.


· Develop customer quotations in accordance with company policies and

contractual requirements.

· Analyze incoming customer Requests for Quotations (RFQs)

· Develop budget estimates for customer RFQs based on prior and current project costs.

· Utilize financial analysis of prior customer projects relative the technical specifications of new

RFQs to provide accurate quotations.

· Create and maintain various data libraries to document and substantiate vendor costs, vendor

warranties, vendor deliveries, terms of sale, technical data, and other related data elements.

· Facilitate the Company Quotation Approval Process; Coordinate, consolidate and

prepare Company responses and associated documents to customer RFQs.

· Create and maintain customer files to document the Company’s responses to customer RFQs.

· Respond to customer RFQ change requests.

· Analyze financial and accounting statements and reports regarding manufactured products to

identify new methods to improve efficiency and increase profits.

· Consult with Company managers to document manufactured product production and delivery


· Track, analyze and monitor actual production costs vs. budgeted costs to identify

cost variances: assist with the development of product standard costs based on data.

· Ensure product requirement documentation properly defines customer expectations and

internal capabilities.

· Process and expedite orders according to ISO-9001 and internal requirements.


High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and two to four years related experience. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

· Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues.

· Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.

· Ability to think in terms of abstract ideas.

Computer Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Prior experience with Ultipro

and Hyperion Essbase software is preferred.
