Position Details:

Summary of Duties:

As an independent, customer focused IT professional, this position has lead responsibility for the WSU Libraries and Center for Digital Scholarship and Curation hosted services and applications. This position also provides advanced support for other IT groups, institutions and individual users of library supported services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 years of professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with administering Drupal instances (7/8/9/10) with Drush.

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and hosting services (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Pantheon.io, MS Azure).

  • Experience planning, documenting, and performing application and service migrations.

  • Experience working with commonly used scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Ruby, Bash, Python).

  • Experience with Windows and Linux Server Administration.

  • Experience tracking computing problems and problem resolution.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or MIS.
