Job Summary\u0007 Responsible for leveraging all available supplier-sponsored programs to allocate inventory and process purchase orders for completed sales orders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities\u0007 Allocate inventory and process orders in fulfillment of all sales orders stock orders and miscellaneous products \u0007 Obtain a firm understanding of the public sector programs available to the company and work with the internal teams to ensure these programs are fully utilized \u0007 Obtain a firm understanding of quantity discount programs free freight programs and other company supplier sponsored programs \u0007 Collaborate with internal teams and company suppliers to assist in resolving any post-submittal issues with purchase orders\u0007 Maintain and monitor the Ordered Queue \u0007 Provide data and support on various projects for Purchasing and Procurement when neededOther duties assigned as neededSkills and Abilities \u0007 Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities \u0007 Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines\u0007 Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion\u0007 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills \u0007 Must have clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally\u0007 Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)\u0007 Effective communication and interaction with employees clients and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization\u0007 Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skillsEducation and/or Experience \u0007 Minimum High school diploma or equivalent \u0007 Minimum 1-2 years Buying experience in similar or related field (Construction Audiovisual Telecommunications) preferred \u0007 Experience operating in a multi-state and/or complex matrix business environment is desirable EWorking Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
