The Returns Lead is responsible for promoting customer satisfaction by examining all repaired and rewrapped products for structural and cosmetic flaws, performing minor repairs where possible, and obtaining replacement items for those that cannot be repaired in time to meet the delivery.
The Returns lead will report any non-conformances utilizing electronic and hard copy inspection reports to inform the Department Supervisor and Product Development team of issues. The Returns Lead must lead the Inspectors in a 100% audit of repaired and rewrapped items to ensure the integrity and product meets the highest quality level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to lead the inspection of various styles of furniture and accessories to corporate specifications.
Accomplish minor repairs and touch-ups on incoming and outgoing items.
Reject items that do not meet specifications and cannot be made to conform to minor repair touch-ups.
Identify recurring problems with specific suppliers or stock items using standard incident report forms.
Properly prepare inspected items for delivery so as to prevent damages from occurring through our different processes of product to assure product integrity to storage and shipment to the customer.
Sign off the acceptance of the product on the required documentation.
Train and monitor performance in the above areas.
Follow procedures set forth by Supply Chain Management on time and attendance
Work in partnership with other shift supervisors/managers to manage work staff and workflow on a daily basis.

Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred
Years of experience: 1-year warehouse leadership experience preferred.
Computer proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs with a clear understanding of excel.
Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including RF, order picking, packing, and shipping processes and procedures.
Dedicated to business and willing to adjust schedule and hours as needed to manage department
Essential Functions of the Position:
Performing tasks in a standing position for extended periods of time.
Repetitive movements.
No physical limitations that limit the ability to carry and move furniture weighing up to 175 pounds.
Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
